Whilst holidaymakers typically select the well-known and loved Algarve Coast, many now opt for the history, culture and stunning beaches of the Lisbon Coast or the delightful sights of the Porto region. If you’re undecided just let us know and we’d be happy to help you choose which destination will suit your requirements.
We have an abundance of villas to suit every budget. Family friendly villas, countryside retreats, stunning beach front properties and honeymoon hideaways – we really do have something for everyone! We also have limited mobility villas in Portugal, with Villa Jazz and The View both wheelchair accessible.
Portugal is mild and sunny all year round and has a particularly long summer season with toasty warm temperatures from April to September. In the Algarve, the average maximum temperature is 28 degrees Celsius in the summer with 12 hours of daylight and a dry heat. Average temperatures are only slightly lower on the Lisbon Coast, and it enjoys a welcome breeze in the hottest summer months.
Driving from Lisbon to the Algarve has never been easier with the journey taking a leisurely two and a half hours.

Lisbon City is a delightful metropolis full of historic buildings, designer shops, food markets, wine bars, fabulous restaurants, streetside cafes and numerous other tourist attractions. If you are staying in one of the nearby resorts, we encourage you to squeeze in a day trip to the capital if you can as you will not be disappointed. Foodies will love the Lisbon cuisine and you will need your camera at the ready to capture the amazing buildings, gardens and spectacles along the way.

June-August is the high season and is the best time for the beach if you prefer warmer temperatures. If you want to escape the crowds and enjoy lower costs, plan your trip for the low season, which is November-March.
Bacalhau (dried, salted cod) is Portugal’s national dish. Other famous Portuguese dishes include piri piri chicken and pastel de nata, a Portuguese egg custard tart pastry.
The coldest is January at 12°C (54°F), while July is the hottest month in Algarve with an average temperature of 23.5°C (74°F).
